vintage to modern
Hello, I am in love with the styles of 20's 30's and early 40's,and as much as i dream of walking around in silk beaded Vionnet gown, dripping in dimonds waving around a cigarette holder it's not practical. I was curious if any of you lovely gals have any ideas on how to work the glamour of those eras to causal wear? (both a personal and professional wardrobe.) How to somewhat modernize the hair and makeup a bit? What vintage items work best in todays wardrobe? I have found numerous websites that address this problem but they focus on 1960's+. If anyone has any ideas, know of websites, or can think of any modern fashion icons who do this well i would greatly appreicate it.
